Carmen M. Morales is a Board Certified Specialist in Marital and Family Law and a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. She is a principal with the Miami law firm of Carmen M. Morales, P.A., where her main area of practice is Marital and Family Law and Family Mediation. Ms. Morales is the Founder/Director of The Family Mediation Institute™ (FMI™) and DIVORCE TALK™.

Ms. Morales received her A.A. degree from Miami-Dade College, her B.A. degree from Florida International University (summa cum laude) and her J.D. degree from the University of Miami. Ms. Morales is a former member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, a former member of the Child Custody Domestic Violence Task Force and past Co-Chair of the Domestic Violence/Family Abuse Committee. She is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association (Family Law Committee, Mediation Committee, and Arbitration Committee, and the First Family Law American Inn of Court.

Ms. Morales is a speaker, delivering lectures and seminars on marital and family law, family law litigation, custody, and domestic violence and is a guest on television and radio talk shows discussing family law and domestic issues.

Ms. Morales was selected as a Florida Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007 and 2009 by Law & Politics (Superlawyers.com). She was also named by peers in “The State's Legal Leaders,” published in Florida Trend's 2006 and 2007 Florida Legal Elite Edition.
